My improvements to the newsletter...

...software proved to be valuable for my sanity, and delivery last Monday went off without a hitch. Last Tuesday I published a blog post which reiterated much of the information that I have been putting in the newsletter. I have loved writing the blog, however it has been a struggle for me to come up with new fresh information during the COVID crisis. Realistically though, my effort has gained traction and many people are finding helpful information which aids in their decision to retire abroad. If you have not visited the blog lately, give it a look. This is the latest post from Tuesday.

I promised last week to offer up some great deals in my newsletter. This is my first attempt. By clicking on the link, you will be directed to a special offer for 60% off wireless bluetooth earbuds from Vealvion. These are Vealvion Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth 5.0 Bluetooth Headphones IPX5 Built-in Mic in-Ear Earphones with Deep Bass Hi-Fi Sound with 500mAh Portable Charging Case for Sports Running (Black)

get offer here. This is an offer with a short shelf life, so respond before midnight PST on November 15, 2020. While supplies last.

Panama continues to reopen...

...and with almost everything reopened, except the schools and gyms, we are adjusting to life in the new normal. We were able to enjoy a couple of meals out at our club while listening to our favorite local talent Pascal Turner. Pascal plays music ranging from American favorites to classic lively Latin American selections. Before COVID, he invited me on stage occasionally to sing with him. This was always a highlight for me and I cannot wait for the opportunity to return to his stage and sing again.

Our bathroom remodel is continuing...

...and with the holidays last week progress has been slow. The tile guy finished up on Friday. I got the ceilings painted and lights and fan installed. The main crew reinstalled the closet cabinets and shelves. They will be installing the new toilet today. The cabinet guy has completed the bath cabinets, and he will be installing them today. Once the cabinets are installed, the granite guy will get a final measurement before cutting the material. I hope to venture out later today to order the mirrors. We are having them measured, cut, and installed by another local business. With all that done, we will be waiting for the granite to complete the plumbing. By the end of this week we should be in the home stretch. Woo-hoo

A few weeks ago...

...Jen and I met an incredible individual, Victor Peretz. Victor is heading up a project which supports the Kuna School in San Blas. He brought handmade masks to us that were crafted by the Kuna women. We bought a few and were asked to pick up some for friends in the States. I encourage any of you to click on the link  to visit Victors Facebook page where you will find the ability to connect and get masks for this very worthy cause. Jen and I have been wearing our masks when we are out and getting great compliments. Every mask is unique so prepare to be amazed.

November is a big holiday...

...month in Panama. Tomorrow is the celebration of The Uprising of Los Santos Day. This holiday takes a look back to the day in 1821 when the people of that Panamanian village rose up against their Spanish overlords and seized the Spanish barracks.

Traditionally, on Uprising of Los Santos, there are parades, traditional music and dancing. Various cultural and patriotic events are usually held throughout Panama.

As with all the other holiday celebrations, most of the festivities are being cancelled throughout the country this year due to the COVID crisis. Banks and government offices will be closed and we expect a huge turnout at the countries beaches.

My book has great detail of the Panamanian holidays. If this interests you, pick up a copy to read more detail of the events taking place in a normal year. You can get a copy of my book by clicking the link here, or the link on the blog. It is exclusively available on Amazon or Kindle. Kindle Unlimited subscribers read it free.

  Blessings from paradise,
